Yes. And it's even faster through the secure section! Your 2020 RRSP receipts were posted online in January. Receipts for the first 60 days of 2021 will be posted at the end of March. You can download all the other tax information slips as well. I haven't received my 2020 RRSP receipts yet. Is this okay? No. Receipts for 2020 RRSP contributions were mailed out in late January. You just need to contact an agent at our Member Services Centre for help with steps you need to take. Our group participates in a Bâtirente Simplified Pension Plan (SPP) through our employer. Will we receive an official tax receipt? No. The information required for tax reporting purposes is found on your T4 and RL-1 slips issued by your employer. I contribute to an RRSP held at my financial institution. Would it be more beneficial to me if I contributed to my group RRSP? Yes. We know that you are working hard for your retirement. Through the pooled savings of the Bâtirente system, you benefit from lower fees than those available on the retail market. In concrete terms, a lower fee rate allows you to keep more money for your retirement, to enjoy it longer or to help you take your retirement even sooner. In addition, you can contribute directly online, keep track of your savings and create your plan via the secure section.
